Cyanotype is a chemical process that is sensitive to UV light and creates prints in blue tones (it is also called a blue print). In this mini-workshop you will learn how to apply cyanotype to cloth and print photographs onto it. The photograph can be a photogram (using an object as the negative) or printed from digital negatives of digital images. You are encouraged to bring your own objects for photograms. If you would like to use a digital image for a nominal fee, you can email us your image prior to the class so we can have it ready to go.
